When a driver accumulates 15 points his/her licence is suspended for 30 days. Demerit points remain
on your driving record for two years from the date of the offence.

- Improper driving where highway divided into lanes

- Pedestrian cross-over offence
- Improper or prohibit turns
- Unnecessary slow driving
- Improper opening to vehicle door
- Towing persons on sleds, bicycles, skis, etc.
- Backing on highway
- Failure to wear seat belt
